BUTTERFLIES IN MY ATTIC




If you saw the post below, you will know that these butterfly squares were found in my attic.


At first I thought they were raw edge applique but on closer inspection the person turned under the edges and did a zig zag stitch over the edges. 

Now just to quilt it?  

Thanks for all of your comments as to what I should do,  As you can see, I decided to just use the same fabrics.

Wow! I see now that the snowball blocks with no sashing look like they are floating on the background. I love it

This quilt turned out very pretty. I like the all pink corners. With the one main color, I think that makes the different butterflies stand out more.

Looks really good to me. I wish the person who made those butterflies could see them sewn up into this quilt. I think they would appreciate your work on them.
